Sheer white drapes adorn this queen bedroom giving you the feel of being in the islands with the wind blowing. Want a relaxing peaceful ambiance? Go to The Palm room for that serine feeling. Flo’s room (name derived after a Flamingo) has a queen bed, master bath attached, double sinks & a tub/shower inset. Our bedrooms have names to make it a fun place to remember where everybody sleeps – LOL! Ocean Break is the king master with double sinks & a walk-in tiled shower. The open floor plan gives you plenty of room for entertaining and spending all your waking hours with family and friends, additional pub table for playing games or working a puzzle and a sizable kitchen for cooking. Just a short walk to the beach access (1 block) will get your toes in the sand in no time! After a long day on the beach, take a walk down to the point to see the most spectacular sunsets. We have put many things into this home to make it very enchanting & a place you want to come back to every year. We ended up at The Fish Market and though rated lower in Trip Advisor because of food value ( I am assuming these are from buffet people because we couldn’t finish our meal) and less ambiance it was a far superb food experience. We hope you will find our home to be comfortable & calming – “just like home”. That being said we were sat by a window that was so dirty we could barely see out of it. The ambiance does have energy and that will definitely pull people in who aren’t really there for food but experience. We left after the appetizers because we could see this wasn’t the place it was described to be for food. Our waiter had a table of spring break young people who were all attractive so it was hard to get his attention but when we did he was great about taking the tuna off the bill. It was definitely a Sysco product though I am shocked Sysco makes anything this bad. It wasn’t even edible with being over cooked, mushy and tasteless. Also ordered was the sashimi tuna appetizer. The waiter said “that’s a great choice” when we ordered the soup which definitely made us fear his input on the rest of the menu. It truly tastes like a Sysco seafood chowder can product that they throw a couple of strands of crab in. First of all the price of wine is different on the drinks menu than on the dinner menu? We ordered the she-crab soup which was a goopy floury paste that had sat under some heat lamp (slight crust on top). If family were on site they were not interested in what’s going on in their restaurant. This restaurant is not at all how people describe. Flamingo Grill seemed to be that restaurant and when phoned we were impressed by the knowledge and enthusiasm by the person who answered the phone. We scoured the reviews and wanted a mid priced restaurant that featured fresh fish. However you can only eat so much of your. We are staying in MB for 2 weeks and preparing most of our meals in our great view condo.
